We're seeking a Programs Development Director to oversee all store running club/training programs. This role involves motivating, encouraging, and providing a safe atmosphere for participants. You'll be responsible for implementing running programs, scheduling events, and managing coaches, mentors, and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking in front of large crowds, friendly, and outgoing, with a passion for promoting positive social experiences. You'll partner with our Marketing team to promote new products to participants and secure training venues. Effective communication with participants on a weekly basis and budget management are also essential aspects of this role.

We believe in the importance of community involvement and community service activities. As a Programs Development Director, you'll have opportunities to contribute to our community outreach initiatives and work with a passionate team of individuals who share our values.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute successful training programs through our Spring, Fall, and Winter Training.
  • Plan and manage logistics, participant happiness, and complete program organization.
  • Lead the strategy for each program's focus, timeline, and goals.
  • Manage customer-facing questions, emails, refunds, registration issues, and other related tasks.
  • Plan weekly group runs, clinics, sponsor events, and large training events like the 20:12 in April.
  • Produce weekly training program email newsletters and routes, water stop logistics, and Pace Group Leader coordination.
  • Recruit new Training Program participants through lunch & learns, Heart Mini Company Kick offs, and general word of mouth promotion.

Qualifications:

We're offering a competitive salary of $15/hour with a weekly time commitment of 15-20 hours. A bonus structure based on participants per season is also available. You'll report to the Owner and have opportunities for training and advancement within the Fleet Feet brand.
