We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Receptionist to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Medical Office Receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and providing administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Deliver care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist Process, answering phone calls, and directing them appropriately.
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments according to office guidelines, obtaining accurate patient and insurance information, and collecting copays and deductible amounts.
- Administrative Support: Perform duties involving record filing and retrieval, assisting with the filing of registration documentation in electronic medical records, and following up with patients regarding the Missed Appointment Policy.
- Communication: Conduct all functions associated with patient check-out, including pricing services, collecting patient responsibility payments, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience: Six months Medical experience in a Clinic (preferred), Medical Insurance experience (preferred), and Business Office Customer Service experience (preferred)
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills, proficiency in computer skills, and knowledge of clinic procedures and regulatory requirements
