Job Summary

Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team in the R3 Medical Surgical unit. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to adult patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and national standards of nursing care.

Implement and evaluate the effects of nursing care, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.

Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient care.

Requirements

Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Maine.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.

Basic knowledge of research base, theory, practices, principles, and processes of professional nursing.

Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
