Key Responsibilities

As a Safety and Security Specialist, your primary role will be to:

  • Ensure a secure and safe atmosphere for both clients and staff while executing general security functions.
  • Enhance safety by being vigilant, identifying, rectifying, and reporting any potential hazards.
  • Adhere to DSI and client protocols, along with specific instructions for your assigned post.
  • Engage in training sessions to familiarize yourself with standard safety practices and DSI's safety guidelines.
  • Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the general public.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong customer service orientation.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • The capability to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in various weather conditions.

Pre-employment Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid Texas Security License.
  • Have reliable transportation and communication means.
  • Successfully pass all mandatory background checks and drug screenings.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $14.00.

Education and Certification Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • A Valid State Driver's License.
  • A Valid State of Texas Security License.
