Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe working environment for employees and visitors by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on safety metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Safety Technician in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
