Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Role:

  • Accurately and efficiently apply cash payments to customer accounts.
  • Conduct collections activities, including reaching out to customers regarding overdue accounts and addressing inquiries.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of banking processes and procedures.
  • Utilize ERP systems and Excel for managing and analyzing financial data.
  • Handle customer inquiries and calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform various ad-hoc tasks and assist with different financial projects.
  • Prepare and dispatch statements to customers promptly.

Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in cash application and/or collections is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (including V-lookup, Pivot Tables, and Sum-if formulas).
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
