Qualifications:
To be considered for the Certified Geriatric Care Assistant position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Aide Training Program
- New graduates are welcome to apply; prior experience is not mandatory
- Experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:
As a Certified Geriatric Care Assistant, your duties will include:
- Participating in resident care reports at the beginning and end of shifts
- Delivering personal and nursing care in alignment with individual care plans
- Facilitating and engaging residents in activities
- Monitoring and addressing resident needs with dignity and respect
- Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
- Assisting residents in preparation for various activities
- Ensuring that all care is provided respectfully
- Performing basic nursing tasks as required
- Documenting resident activities and care accurately
- Adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure quality care
- Participating in ongoing training and educational programs
