The Salvation Army in Albuquerque, New Mexico is actively seeking to fill a position for a Client Services Representative within the Family Services Division.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of community resources, demonstrate the ability to assist individuals in emotional distress, and manage responsibilities in high-pressure situations.

This role is eligible for benefits, including vacation, sick leave, health and vision insurance, life insurance, and more.

The Family Services Client Services Representative will conduct client intake, which involves interviewing individuals to evaluate their needs and accurately entering and maintaining records in a database.

This individual will also prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Additionally, this position will require coordination and networking with community service providers and maintaining updated community resource listings. Responsibilities will also include assisting with food bag preparation and seasonal social service initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
Computer proficiency
Familiarity with community resources
Ability to support individuals in emotional distress and perform under pressure
Capability to establish and sustain professional relationships with clients and colleagues
Valid New Mexico Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past three years
Basic office skills
Bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of Salvation Army policies and procedures
Understanding and alignment with The Salvation Army's evangelical mission
Ability to respond to authority and function within a structured organizational hierarchy
Must successfully pass a criminal background check

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates must be able to fulfill the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
