Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at our hotel. This includes performing preventative maintenance tasks, responding to guest requests, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, repairing vinyl, and performing minor furniture repairs
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and make any necessary repairs
  • Monitor energy conservation and make recommendations for improvement
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state (property specific)
  • Acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) (property specific)
