Job Overview

  • Effectively manage multiple tasks, delegate responsibilities, and take initiative.

  • Maintain flexible availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Plan and coordinate tasks and projects on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain CPO certification.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and functionality of the swimming pool.
  • Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
Job Requirements:

The position entails a 40-hour work week, including weekends and evenings. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring guest satisfaction through friendly and helpful service.
  • Maintaining HVAC systems, boilers, electrical systems, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, roofing, and landscaping.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance to uphold hotel quality standards.
  • Monitoring and maintaining systems for air conditioning, televisions, and lighting, making repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool.
  • Obtaining or maintaining CPO certification (cost covered by the property).
  • Performing follow-up inspections and repairs on plumbing systems, fixtures, and kitchen/laundry equipment.
  • Refurbishing and repairing furniture in guest rooms and common areas.
  • Proactively troubleshooting issues and assisting colleagues as a team player.
  • Adhering to corporate and brand standards in policies and procedures.
  • Supporting training initiatives within the hotel.
  • Maintaining the property to meet or exceed quality assurance standards.
  • Participating in safety procedures and committee meetings.
  • Holding certifications or licenses for HVAC repairs, plumbing, electrical work, and swimming pool maintenance.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the majority of the shift.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
  • Ability to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces regularly.
  • Frequent handling of objects and equipment for facility maintenance.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Physical demands must be met to successfully perform essential job functions.
  • HVAC certification is mandatory.
