About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Air Combat Test & Training (ACTT) Department within Mission Systems. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing state-of-the-art products for cryptographic, datalink, networking, and command and control applications supporting threat and weapon simulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the engineering effort to produce, test, troubleshoot, repair, and deliver air combat test and training hardware
  • Create, update, review, and release test procedures
  • Produce change orders, engineering change proposals, and waivers
  • Serve as Cost Account Manager (CAM) to estimate and manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk to deliver systems with expected quality
  • Support efforts to transition products from engineering development to factory production
  • Assist root cause corrective action investigations and efforts to improve yields and reduce manufacturing time
  • Innovate to improve technical solutions and process efficiency
  • Work in a collaborative Agile development environment
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
