Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and coordinate complex tests for control and diagnostic systems, ensuring logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Collaborate with equipment designers to plan, design, develop, and utilize electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
  • Analyze system capabilities and determine end-user needs to resolve problems and ensure current and future business needs are met.
  • Ensure hardware and software standards are met, and design build procedures to support product development.
  • Develop software configuration standards for company-wide use.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a Software Engineering position or related role.
  • Or, Master's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience in a Software Engineering position or related role.
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded software development and verification.
  • 3+ years of experience developing software using C, C++, Ada, or Python.
  • 3+ years of experience in the avionics industry.
  • DO-178B/C development experience.
