LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albany, NY. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and monitor IV therapy as ordered and according to established policies and standards.
  • Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
  • Collaborate with the RN to collect data about residents and determine priorities in resident care based on identified needs and goals.
  • Contribute to the plan of care through effective communication with the RN and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Under the direction of the RN and within the scope of practice, comply with established nursing policies, procedures, and standards to provide safe and quality care to residents.
Requirements:
  • A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of New York.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to engage within a team setting.
  • Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field.
