Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at St. Peter's Health Partners. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer nursing care to residents under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Assist with treatments and procedures, and carry out selected duties within the framework of the established nursing plan of care.
  • Collect data about residents, determine priorities in resident care based on identified needs and goals, and contribute to the plan of care through collaboration and effective communication with the RN and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and monitor IV therapy as ordered and according to established policies and standards.
  • Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
Requirements
  • A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of New York.
  • 1 year of experience or more as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to engage within a team setting.
  • Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field.
