This role is integral to our manufacturing facilities, providing essential support to our production team leaders as they strive for optimal safety, quality, and efficiency. The position involves working in various refrigerated sections of the production area and is tasked with overseeing the inventory of packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to GMP/PPE and safety protocols.
  • Maintain HACCP and sanitation standards.
  • Utilize DSI Scanner Functions for inventory allocation across various production orders.
  • Keep accurate records of packaging materials such as film, boxes, and trays.
  • Understand and apply yield standards effectively.
  • Operate safely around moving machinery in a wet environment.
  • Accurately scan line downtime and relevant parts/SKUs.
  • Track identification tags through ERP and RPDMS systems.
  • Ensure production efficiency remains above 80%.
  • Generate inventory reports to confirm correct material entries into JDE.
  • Assist production as required.
  • Document inventory usage accurately.
  • Be open to cross-training and multitasking across various roles.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comply with SQF regulatory standards.
  • Uphold cleanliness in the workspace consistently.
  • Implement and maintain the 5S methodology for tools and equipment.
  • Verify physical inventory against consumption records.
  • Ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Conduct AM activities as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in a cold, wet, and fast-paced plant environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills are required.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications (Microsoft Excel, JDE/DSI/RPDMS).
  • Experience with SKI CK3 Scanner.
  • Capability to multitask effectively.
  • Understanding of plant KPIs related to production, quality, and safety.
  • GED or High School Diploma is required.

Physical Work Environment:

This position involves using ladders and catwalks to access production equipment, frequently working near moving mechanical parts, and enduring exposure to extreme cold for extended periods. The role may also require working in high, precarious locations and occasionally involves wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the workplace is typically loud.
