Expected salary range of $133,200 to $148,000, contingent on experience, complemented by a thorough benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.


LOCATION
This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring presence at our Warrendale, PA office for up to 50% of the week, while the remaining 50% allows for remote work flexibility.

Moreover, approximately 20% travel is anticipated annually, primarily along the East Coast.



PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Construction Project Management Supervisor is accountable for overseeing all contractual obligations of assigned construction projects, ensuring that Project Managers meet both internal and external objectives within established timelines and budgetary constraints.

This role involves reporting to senior management regarding project performance and guiding Project Managers to deliver projects punctually and within financial limits.

The Supervisor will provide direction, support, and empowerment to the PM team, encouraging them to exceed expected performance levels. Additionally, the role includes managing project risks and internal tracking processes in alignment with business unit responsibilities. The Supervisor will collaborate closely with sales and development teams to offer implementation support for ongoing and future projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Oversees the following components of Construction Project Management:
Deliver general management expertise and area-specific skills.
Plan, execute, and oversee project policies, objectives, and responsibilities.
Ensure adequate support and resources are accessible to the project team.
Guide project managers through effective leadership and professional conduct.


Supervise multiple construction projects and their respective managers to guarantee that goals and objectives are achieved in accordance with contractual deliverables, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.

Collaborate internally with stakeholders to align with corporate objectives, business unit profit goals, and targeted sales initiatives.

Assign team members to specific tasks based on their individual skills and capabilities to foster personal and professional development.

Conduct performance evaluations of PMs, offering constructive feedback and developing pathways for ongoing success for both individuals and Constellation.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical) and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in construction management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in managing high-pressure situations where diplomacy and collaboration are essential for cost-effective operations.

Experience in directing, supervising, and training personnel, assigning and overseeing work, conducting performance reviews, addressing disciplinary issues, and resolving personnel challenges.

Ability to unify diverse personnel into a cohesive team focused on shared objectives.
Proven understanding of cost estimation and budget forecasting.
Experience with all financial aspects of project management.
Ability to devise short-term strategies for long-term solutions to complex issues.
Strong comprehension of engineering and construction documentation and processes.
Ability to interpret schematic and architectural drawings.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated expertise in mechanical trades and construction, including specialties such as HVAC and electrical work.
Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
Proficiency in construction estimating and familiarity with estimating software, such as RS Means and MCA Manual, is preferred.
Experience with Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling tools.
Familiarity with Deltek CostPoint or similar accounting software.
Practical knowledge of contract law.
