Pain Management Referral Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pain Management Referral Specialist to join our team at Advanced Pain Care. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThe Pain Management Referral Specialist will play a critical role in coordinating and processing referrals for patients requiring internal and external consults. This includes working closely with clinical staff, outside care providers, and patients to ensure timely scheduling and follow-up.
- Ensure referrals are processed within 24 hours
- Coordinate appointments for patients with our specialists
- Review referral diagnosis codes and CPT codes
- Collect and document necessary information for each referral
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior clinical, medical, or marketing experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology (desired)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
This role requires working in a medical office environment, with occasional evening or weekend work. You must be able to drive to various locations, sit and/or stand for prolonged periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
