  • Coordinate interviews with student-athletes, coaches, and athletics personnel
  • Write game stories, preview stories, and feature stories
  • Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Athletics Media

Requirements
  • Student status at Sam Houston State University
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for Sam Houston Athletics and a willingness to learn

Working Conditions
  • Work will be performed at campus athletic venues, including nights and weekends
  • May require working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
