Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Quality Program Manager RN in our Trauma/Burn Program. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementation.
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate quality and safety data to inform decision-making and drive improvement.
- Design and manage projects to improve patient care and safety, including education and outreach activities.
- Work closely with the Nursing Director to promote quality outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in emergency room and ICU nursing required.
- Database management and analysis experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare quality measurement, reporting, and improvement.
- Previous leadership or project management experience, including statistical concepts and applications.
- Knowledge of current professional nursing theory, practice, and skills with emphasis on trauma and emergency surgery.
- Ability to manage time and resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Comfortable interacting with administrative and interdisciplinary clinical staff.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and institutional policies governing clinical research.
