Program Director - Leadership Role

The Home for Little Wanderers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our child welfare programs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and staff within the program(s), ensuring that services, education, and treatment plans are of high quality and aligned with the goals of the Program(s).

You will work closely with the Senior Director to assess, develop, and implement program services appropriate to the needs of clients and their families. This will involve establishing and maintaining working relationships with community agencies, federal, state, and local agencies to ensure a steady flow of eligible clients to the program(s).

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership and management experience in a multi-disciplinary setting, with a strong understanding of the child welfare system and working knowledge of state agencies. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

In addition to your leadership skills, you will be responsible for overseeing the intake and discharge process, ensuring all appropriate paperwork and data entry are completed in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be involved in risk management and crisis resolution, reviewing and approving critical incident reports to Quality Management and appropriate staff.
