Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential threats to Navy IT and weapon systems.
  • Interpret and apply relevant policies to enhance cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at risk mitigation and cybersecurity improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals in the Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to navigate evolving requirements and ensure compliance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supporting Navy IT, Information Assurance (IA), or Cybersecurity initiatives.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the Navy RMF process.
  • Proficient understanding of the Navy RMF Process Guide and NAVSEA RMF Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Possession of IAM Level II Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with Navy Authorizing Officials or System Administrators.
  • Possession of a Top Secret clearance.
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science.
  • IAM/IAT Level III Certification.

Clearance Requirement:

This role necessitates a Secret clearance and may involve the handling of classified materials.
