About the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated Navy Cybersecurity Risk Management Lead to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the Navy's efforts in combating cyber threats. Your expertise in information security risk management will be essential in identifying and addressing vulnerabilities within Navy IT systems and weapon systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of potential threats to Navy IT and weapon systems.
- Interpret and apply relevant policies to enhance cybersecurity frameworks.
- Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at risk mitigation and cybersecurity improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals in the Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
- Engage with various stakeholders to navigate evolving requirements and ensure compliance.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in supporting Navy IT, Information Assurance (IA), or Cybersecurity initiatives.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the Navy RMF process.
- Proficient understanding of the Navy RMF Process Guide and NAVSEA RMF Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Possession of IAM Level II Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience collaborating with Navy Authorizing Officials or System Administrators.
- Possession of a Top Secret clearance.
- A Master's degree in Computer Science.
- IAM/IAT Level III Certification.
Clearance Requirement:
This role necessitates a Secret clearance and may involve the handling of classified materials.
