Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Specialist to support our Naval Governance and Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Department of Navy (DoN) to identify and mitigate cyber risks, ensuring the security and integrity of our naval systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address cyber threats
  • Collaborate with DoN stakeholders to understand their risk management needs
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure compliance with Navy RMF Process Guide and NAVSEA RMF Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in supporting Navy IT, IA, or Cybersecurity programs
  • Experience with wargaming, cyber tabletops, or alternative risk assessment
  • Knowledge of Navy RMF Process Guide and NAVSEA RMF Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders and ensure quality delivery of RMF packages
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • IAM/IAT Level II Certification
  • Ability to obtain Navy Qualified Validator Certification within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with supporting Navy Authorizing Official, Functional Authorizing Official, or a Trusted Packaged Submitting Officer
  • Experience as a system administrator, network administrator, or system engineer
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a computer science field
  • IAM/IAT Level III Certification
  • Navy Qualified Validator III Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
