The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Nursing Assistant Trainee to join our team in a long-term care setting. As a trainee, you will be enrolled in a comprehensive learning experience designed to develop your skills and confidence in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as feeding, transferring, and walking
- Document resident care and communicate changes in condition to licensed nurses
- Participate in a team-based approach to care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Develop and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
