We are looking for a Dietary Supervisor at Golden Harbor Assisted Living.
The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for delivering wholesome meals and snacks to residents while adhering to dietary restrictions and guidelines established by healthcare professionals and regulatory agencies.
This role includes providing comprehensive leadership, guidance, and oversight to the dietary team. Availability to work on weekends and holidays may be required.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the preparation of nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of residents.
- Supervise and mentor dietary staff to maintain high standards of food service.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement dietary plans.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage scheduling and staffing for the dietary department.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a dietary setting, with experience in staff management preferred.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Availability for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain necessary certifications.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
