Join Our Team as a Technical Support Specialist

United Talent Agency is looking for a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is eager to learn and expand their technical expertise through collaboration with clients and senior technical personnel.

The successful applicant thrives in providing assistance to systems and users, both in-person and via remote technologies. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer support for on-site audiovisual systems, including video conferencing setups and general meeting room arrangements.
  • Handle incoming support requests from users through various communication channels in a professional manner.
  • Assist users with on-site technical challenges and deliver remote support to our global clientele.
  • In cases where issues cannot be resolved, collaborate with senior analysts and escalate matters internally.
  • Document all relevant user identification details, including name, department, contact information, and the nature of the issue.
  • Record, track, and document the help desk request resolution process, detailing all decisions made and actions taken until final resolution.
  • Test solutions to confirm that problems have been effectively resolved.
  • Conduct follow-ups post-resolution to ensure user satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of IT experience, ideally in a technical support role.
  • Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
  • Must be knowledgeable, curious, assertive, and energetic.
  • Ability to navigate unfamiliar technologies and applications, providing solutions that align with both client and company needs.
  • Organizational skills, dependability, and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and service level agreements in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems as part of a collaborative team.
  • Understanding of delivering quality service while adhering to service level agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of support in a Microsoft environment, including troubleshooting Windows 10, MacOS, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a desire to tackle challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, mobile devices, and video conferencing tools.
  • Understanding of networking principles, including IP addressing and routing.
  • Working knowledge of antivirus solutions, backups, and virtualization.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for printers and telecommunication devices.
