InterMed, P.A. is seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Analyst to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $58,000 - $68,000 per year.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing procedures and possess excellent analytical skills. As an Insurance Claims Analyst, you will be responsible for investigating unusual contractual adjustments, communicating problematic trends to the Revenue Cycle Manager, and ensuring all pending and variance items are resolved within designated time frames.

Responsibilities:
  • Investigate unusual contractual adjustments. Communicate problematic trends to the Revenue Cycle Manager.
  • Ensure all pending and variance items are resolved within designated time frames.
  • Fluently work in EMR to perform daily job duties
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • One to three years of Medical Billing Office experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patient information in accordance with company policy & procedure, and HIPAA regulations.
