Job Description

About the Role:

The Senior Vice President of Risk Operations will oversee the management of the risk services team at United Insurance. This senior executive will be responsible for managing a diverse range of tasks, including claims advocacy, risk control services, coverage analysis, and marketing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance to service teams on existing and new business, ensuring seamless coverage and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with Service Teams to develop effective marketing strategies for client renewals, driving growth and retention.
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing efforts for large new business submissions, showcasing United Insurance's capabilities and expertise.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance carriers, fostering strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate loss control initiatives with service teams, leveraging internal resources, carrier partnerships, and outsourced consultants to achieve optimal results.
  • Oversee the claims team, focusing on delivering exceptional results for clients through strategic decision-making and process improvements.
  • Train and develop claims advocates to provide top-notch service to clients, meeting their evolving needs and expectations.
  • Present Risk Services capabilities to new business meetings, highlighting the value proposition and differentiators of United Insurance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership, supporting the continued growth and success of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with considerable experience in the insurance industry.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams and influencing decision-makers.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Yammer.
  • Exceptional verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences and convey complex information effectively.
  • Positive, friendly, and professional attitude, with a passion for delivering outstanding results and exceeding client expectations.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed, supporting business growth and expansion.

Compensation:

We offer an estimated salary of $145,000 - $165,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This competitive compensation package reflects the importance of this role in driving business growth and success at United Insurance.
