This role involves collaboration with the traffic department to guarantee timely project completion and accurate documentation. You will partner with sales executives to ensure the highest quality creative content is aired within established timelines. Additionally, you will engage with voice talent to uphold exceptional standards in voice-over work and production, often providing guidance and oversight throughout the process. You will also work closely with clients in the studio on scriptwriting and provide coaching on voice performance to ensure the best possible outcomes. Furthermore, you will serve as a resource for advertising agencies, facilitating recording sessions that may include ISDN capabilities for clients across the nation.

Access to industry-standard tools such as Adobe Audition and Zetta Automation will be provided, along with a wealth of production resources. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented voice artists within the market and our organization to create polished final products that reflect your creative vision. This position is situated within a dynamic and leading media environment, with a primary focus on serving our commercial clients and managing audio production. Familiarity with digital video production is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee audio production while prioritizing the needs of our commercial clients.
  • Collaborate with the traffic department to ensure deadlines are met and documentation is precise.
  • Partner with sales executives to deliver top-notch creative content on air within specified timelines.
  • Engage with voice talent to maintain high standards of voice-over work and production, often providing coaching and oversight.
  • Work directly with clients in-studio on script development and voice performance coaching.
  • Manage all commercial audio for both terrestrial and online broadcasts in conjunction with the traffic and continuity team.
  • Coordinate with programming on various audio uploads, including commercials, music, and promotional announcements.
  • Organize and manage client audio, airchecks, and respond promptly to local and corporate sales teams for audio requests.
  • Perform additional programming duties as assigned.
  • Act as a recording studio resource for advertising agencies, including potential ISDN sessions for clients nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Digital video skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Expertise in audio production and editing is essential.
  • Proficiency in navigating Zetta/Nexgen, as well as software such as Audition, Vegas, and/or Protools.
  • Experience in copywriting is required.
  • Prior radio experience is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Familiarity with WideOrbit is preferred but not essential.
