Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze bid documents and plan packages to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Maintain and update subcontractor bid database by researching and vetting new subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with design teams, architects, and engineers to develop accurate construction timelines and schedules.
  • Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs, and input all necessary information during the preconstruction phase.
  • Coordinate bid packages and ensure all necessary materials and resources are available for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and bids.
  • Utilize industry software and tools to accurately estimate project costs and timelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in preconstruction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in construction estimating software such as Procore or Bluebeam.
