Key Responsibilities:
  • Engages with the HR team and HR Director to grasp the needs, responsibilities, and qualifications required for open positions.
  • Gathers and evaluates data to stay informed about competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand in specific sectors.
  • Utilizes data and records to identify and select suitable candidates for open roles.
  • Conducts candidate screenings, selects qualified individuals for interviews, and facilitates connections with hiring managers and the HR Director.
  • Verifies candidates' references and credentials, ensuring their experience and backgrounds are accurate.
  • Guides candidates through the interview and hiring process.
  • Processes background check requests and monitors the outcomes.
  • Leads new employee orientation sessions.
  • Organizes and participates in job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
  • Follows up with clients or hiring managers post-interview to assess the potential for placements and gathers feedback when placements are unsuccessful.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborates closely with the HR Director to manage daily HR-related tasks.
  • Facilitates effective communication across various ARS departments.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in conducting interviews.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of caregiving recruitment and placement.
  • Comprehensive understanding of EEO, ADA, and other relevant employment laws and guidelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in recruiting or human resources.
  • An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Sign-on Bonus:

A $1000 sign-on bonus is available, distributed as follows:

  • $500 after 30 days
  • $500 upon successful completion of a 90-day review
