A successful Recruiter is committed to understanding the unique offerings of ARS for job seekers while supporting the professional development of our existing workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages with the HR team and HR Director to grasp the needs, responsibilities, and qualifications required for open positions.
- Gathers and evaluates data to stay informed about competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand in specific sectors.
- Utilizes data and records to identify and select suitable candidates for open roles.
- Conducts candidate screenings, selects qualified individuals for interviews, and facilitates connections with hiring managers and the HR Director.
- Verifies candidates' references and credentials, ensuring their experience and backgrounds are accurate.
- Guides candidates through the interview and hiring process.
- Processes background check requests and monitors the outcomes.
- Leads new employee orientation sessions.
- Organizes and participates in job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
- Follows up with clients or hiring managers post-interview to assess the potential for placements and gathers feedback when placements are unsuccessful.
- Ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborates closely with the HR Director to manage daily HR-related tasks.
- Facilitates effective communication across various ARS departments.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in conducting interviews.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Basic knowledge of caregiving recruitment and placement.
- Comprehensive understanding of EEO, ADA, and other relevant employment laws and guidelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A minimum of two years of experience in recruiting or human resources.
- An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Sign-on Bonus:
A $1000 sign-on bonus is available, distributed as follows:
- $500 after 30 days
- $500 upon successful completion of a 90-day review
