Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Transplant Coordinator RN to join our team at Swedish First Hill. As a key member of our transplant team, you will play a critical role in coordinating the clinical aspects of organ transplantation, ensuring seamless care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate clinical aspects of organ transplantation, including evaluation, work-up, and pre-transplant and/or post-transplant medical and surgical care of potential recipients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians and dialysis centers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, both written and computerized, to support patient care.
  • Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • Experience with or willingness to master the use of the transplant database.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification.
  • 2 years of experience in organ transplantation or critical care nursing.
