About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at BriteLife Recovery. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of cuisine is served to our clients, and maintaining a clean and safe food preparation environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and preparation of weekly menus, ensuring a diverse and nutritious range of options for our clients.
  • Help oversee the kitchen to ensure that all food and labor cost goals are met, and that the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, and food storage facilities, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Assist in the inventory management of food service items and supplies, ensuring that all necessary stock is maintained and that waste is minimized.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of safe food handling and preparation practices, and take an active role in enhancing the quality of life of our clients through the provision of high-quality meals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a casual dining environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Current ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
