RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Care Specialist to join our team in Northern Virginia.

About the Role

This position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work in diverse pharmacy settings, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing clear and compassionate counseling to patients, managing inventory, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispensing Medications: Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide clear and compassionate counseling to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and overall health management.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely ordering of medications and supplies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other pharmacy staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Licensure: Valid and active Virginia Pharmacist License.
  • Certifications: Current Vaccine Certification and CPR Card.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to float between different locations and adapt to varying work environments.
