This role is crucial for delivering high-quality maintenance and lubrication services on heavy equipment, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and effectively. The technician will be expected to maintain a high standard of service while working irregular hours, including potential overnight assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lubrication and routine maintenance on heavy machinery in the field to address customer requirements.
  • Availability for irregular hours, including overnight shifts as necessary.
  • Utilize grease guns or spray lubricants to service components such as springs and universal joints on various equipment.
  • Ensure the lubrication vehicle is well-maintained and presents a professional image to clients.
  • Accurately complete all documentation related to Customer Service Agreements (CSA) to meet both internal and external expectations.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Service heavy machinery with appropriate fluids and filters.
  • Perform comprehensive inspections of machinery to guarantee optimal functionality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and energetic individual capable of working independently or collaboratively in a field setting.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to foster positive customer relationships.
  • Proven track record of safety and reliability in previous roles.
  • Excellent attendance, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Possession of a valid and clean driver's license is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Class B CDL within a specified timeframe.
  • Successful completion of a DOT physical examination is necessary.
  • Having personal tools is highly preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in field or shop preventive maintenance for heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, and excavators.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Technical training or schooling is advantageous.
