Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Site Operations Manager to oversee field activities and manage personnel at our various construction locations.

The Site Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring project completion with a strong focus on Quality, Safety, and Timeliness. This individual must possess exceptional leadership abilities, capable of guiding teams and making informed decisions swiftly.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, collaborative professional, proficient in effective communication with all stakeholders, including field personnel, subcontractors, project managers, administrative staff, and clients.

The Site Operations Manager is responsible for accurate tracking of project expenditures and proper documentation of labor hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations across all job sites.
- Address any unsafe practices immediately.
- Maintain a daily job log, documenting deliveries, on-site trades, employee attendance, and completed work.
- Monitor crew attendance and provide guidance on labor hour allocation.
- Update 3-week Lookaheads weekly.
- Coordinate daily tasks based on priorities and adapt plans as needed due to weather, supply issues, or personnel changes.
- Plan ahead effectively to minimize last-minute material trips and enhance efficiency.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to crew members and subcontractors.
- Hold team members accountable, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.
- Mentor and train staff in line with company practices.
- Emphasize the safe operation of tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Oversee quality control across all trades.
- Schedule and liaise with County and Third-Party Inspectors.
- Ensure timely project completion.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers/Managers on developing RFIs and proposing solutions.
- Resolve on-site conflicts or miscommunications promptly and amicably.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or relevant certification in a skilled trade.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Site Operations Manager in construction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction best practices, equipment maintenance, and safety guidelines.
- Proficient in reading plans, specifications, and interpreting codes for effective communication.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Solid mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and stamina—capable of lifting at least 50 lbs., climbing ladders, working outdoors, and standing/walking for extended periods.
