Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Hendricks Regional Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide direct and indirect patient care, including vital sign collection, medical record maintenance, and patient education.
  • Clinical Support: Assist physicians with testing and treatment procedures, apply splints and dressings, and perform laboratory tests as prescribed.
  • Environment of Care: Ensure all patient care areas, equipment, and materials are properly stocked and maintained, and that exam rooms are clean and organized.
  • Communication: Respond to telephone calls, triage patients, and communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or accredited Nursing Program.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
