SAP Application Analyst (Onsite)
We are seeking a contract SAP Application Analyst to contribute to one of the leading independent automotive parts retailers in the nation. The SAP Application Analyst will be responsible for examining escalated inquiries and issues related to Point of Sale applications, SAP, and payment systems. This role also involves documenting user feedback on applications and offering suggestions for enhancements.
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite)
Compensation: $25 – 30 per hour plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate escalated inquiries and issues utilizing critical thinking, initiative, and collaboration alongside established protocols.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Project Teams to understand and support essential business applications.
- Identify, recommend, and document modifications or enhancements for key business applications.
- Act as a technical liaison between development teams and end-users.
- Analyze and review customer feedback on critical business applications.
- Conduct training sessions for Service Desk and other support teams on new products or services being introduced.
- Ensure compliance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards.
- Create and review instructional materials and knowledge articles for business applications and processes.
- Perform Quality Assurance validation on software releases and fixes for business applications.
- Provide on-call support for escalated production issues on a rotating basis.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of one year of IT support experience or eighteen months of experience with business applications hardware.
- Proficiency in POS systems, SAP, invoice applications, and payment application systems is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to prepare and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio is necessary.
- Strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills, including attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
