We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Transformation Leader to join our team at GE Vernova. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving process excellence and leading cultural adoption of Lean principles and techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Lead Cultural Adoption: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive Lean strategy, aligning with our broader process improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate Lean Activities: Collaborate with Value Stream Leaders and functional teams to execute Lean activities, drive process improvements, and promote standard work.
  • Guide Process Excellence: Coach teams on effective 5 Why Analysis and Root Cause Investigation, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive Business Transformation: Develop and implement strategies to drive business transformation and Lean adoption, leveraging your expertise in Lean models, concepts, and tools.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Value Stream Lean Leaders, process owners, and other stakeholders to ensure unified strategic execution across the organization.
  • Own Program Management: Develop and manage the Program Management Development Program (PPM), providing coaching and guidance to process owners on project management.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Experience: Advanced experience in successfully managing programs/projects or driving continuous improvement initiatives, with a proven track record of driving outcomes in a large, globally matrixed organization.
  • Skills: Process-focused, with the ability to challenge the status quo and influence others. Self-directed agent with strong prioritization and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering or Leadership Experience: Experience in the power generation industry and related to the value stream, with a strong understanding of Lean models, concepts, and tools.
  • Coaching and Teaching: Demonstrated ability to coach and teach Lean tools to others, with a strong track record of driving business transformation and Lean adoption.
