Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Room Inspector/Inspectress to join our team at Shaner Hotel Group. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Training and Development: Supervise and train Guest Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our guests have a positive experience at our hotel.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Assist with the management of housekeeping operations, including laundry, cleaning, and maintenance of public areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including front desk, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in housekeeping or a related field, with previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to ensure understanding and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of proper chemical handling and safety procedures.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
