Job Summary

The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans. This role requires a strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute test plans to ensure software products meet requirements and specifications
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve testing methodologies
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
  • 2+ years of professional coding experience with any programming language
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as part of a test team
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to test automation and frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles and testing methodologies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance
