About the Role

We are seeking a skilled School Counselor/Professional Therapist to join our team at Catapult Learning. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with school personnel and parents to develop specific interventions on behalf of students
  • Interpret assessments/results and generate reports for feedback to parents and school personnel
  • Advise teachers and other school personnel on methods to enhance students' abilities
  • Work as a referral agent linking students and families with outside agencies to service their needs
  • Support students with academic and emotional needs that interfere with academic success
Requirements
  • Maryland LCSW, LMSW, or LGPC (Supervision for LGPCs is available)
  • At least two years' experience in the field preferred
  • Knowledge of testing and evaluation techniques and competent in assessment procedures and interpretation of results
  • Proficient in virtual platforms, such as Zoom and MS Office 365
