Radiology Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Services Manager to join our team at United Hospital Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the assigned Radiology Services to ensure the optimum performance of medical imaging, interventional, and therapeutic procedures in accordance with the service and educational missions of the institution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the personnel of the assigned section to ensure the availability of an appropriately credentialed, clinically competent, well-developed cohesive work force to meet the imaging, therapeutic, and educational mission of the section.
- Develop and implement on-going educational programs for technical and support staff through cooperative teamwork with the manager responsible for assigned radiology services education.
- Assure the quality of imaging and therapeutic services and patient care through compliance with industry norms, applicable regulatory, institutional, departmental, and section standards.
- Manage section payroll verifying and validating hours worked for each employee, assuring adherence to institutional and departmental payroll policy and procedure.
- Develop and implement an inventory system which meets operational needs avoiding unnecessary stock piles and waste.
- Identify and recommend new products, systems, and equipment for potential purchase or implementation in order to reduce cost, improve patient care and delivery of services, and/or maintain the state-of-the-art as needed or upon request by the director.
- Five (5) years of clinical experience in the radiologic sciences with two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Registered in imaging modality through ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB.
- State licensure through certified modality where applicable.
- Obtain BLS within 30 days of hire.
- Bachelor's degree.
