About Us

Job Summary
The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, reviews necessary documentation, and performs related clinical and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a commitment to meeting patient needs and ensuring patient satisfaction.
- Operate radiographic equipment with knowledge and skill.
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
- Review necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
- Perform preventative visual and manual inspections for radiographic rooms and equipment to ensure maintenance and cleanliness.
- Perform related clinical and clerical duties associated with patient procedures.
- Assist in managing radiographic procedures through resource coordination to facilitate optimal efficiency.
- Perform warm-up calibration procedures to ready equipment for patient imaging.
- Contribute to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.
- Maintain certification and licensure through continuing education classes.
Requirements
- College degree preferred; new graduates welcome.
- ARRT (RT)(R) and CT State License required; reimbursement provided for licensure cost.
