Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Expenditures and Budgets: Ensure that all expenditures on large-scale civil construction programs align with budgets, utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to monitor and control project financials.
  • Project Management Systems Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of project management systems, such as eBuilder, Unifier, and Kahua, to ensure accurate and timely data handling and reporting.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerBI, and structured databases to manage and report on project data, with a strong understanding of table structures from Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
  • Stakeholder Insights: Collaborate with the project management team to provide actionable insights on current expenditure data to stakeholders.
  • Client Communication: Participate in update meetings to relay and address client concerns.
  • Project Prioritization: Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, and follow through on projects to successful completion.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree being a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in accounting relating to construction, particularly specialized in Earned Value Management systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in eBuilder, Oracle Unifier, and similar PMIS tools, with strong data management skills and expertise in PowerBI, Access, Excel, and database structures.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and/or Security Threat Assessment (SWAC) Background Check at a high level.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
