Position Overview: The Automotive Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in the sales process of both new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess each customer's automotive needs by engaging in meaningful dialogue and attentive listening.
  • Showcase new vehicles through demonstrations and facilitate test drives.
  • Introduce new clients to the Service department and connect them with the appropriate personnel.
  • Facilitate the delivery of new vehicles, ensuring customers are well-informed about the vehicle's features, warranty, and maintenance schedule, thereby fostering customer loyalty.
  • Implement a follow-up system to encourage repeat business and referrals, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on new products, features, and accessories, along with their advantages for customers.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to review monthly goals, weekly tasks, and daily plans.
  • Comprehend automotive terminology and keep abreast of technological advancements to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Understand and adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing retail automotive sales.
  • Complete all required training as directed by management.
  • Follow established policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Must successfully pass drug screening and background checks.
