Job Summary

Westminster Schools of Augusta is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Athletic Trainer to lead the school's athletic program, providing support to student-athletes and advancing the overall athletic program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic training services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation.
  • Work closely with the athletic administration to develop and implement athletic training programs, protocols, and policies.
  • Coordinate and implement rehabilitation programs and return-to-play protocols for injured student-athletes.
  • Track and help with CPR/AED certification of coaches, sports clearance tracking, and baseline concussion test administration seasonally.
  • Assist with other duties and functions defined by athletic administration, including site setup for practices and games, athletic training room management, and maintenance of physical forms and health-related paperwork.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in athletic training or related field.
  • NATABOC certification.
  • GA state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CSCS, PES, or other strength and conditioning related certification.
  • Previous Middle/High School experience.
