About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our Corporate Accounting Department at D.R. Horton, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accounting support to our operating divisions, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and corporate policies.
  • Execute various corporate accounting functions, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Lead the monthly and quarterly accounting close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
