We are seeking a skilled Government Contract Audit Specialist to join our team at CohnReznick LLP.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, consulting firm or government agency experience with a proven track record of success in audit and advisory services. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, as well as a CPA certification.

This is a remote opportunity that requires the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple client projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, technical, and advisory skills, with a strong focus on providing exceptional client service and communication.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing contract audits and advisory services, including incurred cost, business systems, proposal, Cost Accounting Standards/Disclosure Statement, and real-time audits. You will also be expected to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships, provide training and professional development opportunities, and support partners and growth of the practice.

A competitive salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for auditing and advisory services, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform contract audits and advisory services, including incurred cost, business systems, proposal, Cost Accounting Standards/Disclosure Statement, and real-time audits
  • Develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities
  • Support partners and growth of the practice
  • Review and analyze financial data and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA certification required
  • 8+ years of experience in public accounting, consulting firm or government agency experience
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and advisory skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • U.S. citizenship required due to project requirements
