Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse 2 to join our team in the Inpatient Liquid Oncology department at the HUP Pavilion. This is a rotating shift position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with oncologic malignancies, including liquid and solid tumors, requiring autologous stem cell transplant, cellular therapy, chemotherapy, and symptom management.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Nursing.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience and completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable.
