Regional Operations Manager

The Regional Operations Manager for the Equipment and Supply Division will play a critical role in supporting the Florida market for Brasfield & Gorrie (B&G). This position focuses on ensuring seamless operations, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and profit generation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, complaint resolution, and quality monitoring.
  • Oversee customer-related activities, monitor service metrics, and recommend improvements to optimize performance.
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both customers and B&G Equipment and Supply.
  • Resolve project issues with the team and customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Develop, mentor, and support a self-directed team of technicians to drive operational excellence.
  • Compile billing information and prepare invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide input on risk analysis, capacity, and financial objectives to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze metrics such as response time, downtime, and repair time, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to proper processes and documentation to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of staffing levels required to deliver exceptional customer service, actively participating in the recruitment and interview process to ensure the team is adequately staffed.
  • Track labor reporting and commitments on projects to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to assess market accuracy, risks, and opportunities, informing strategic business decisions.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, reviews, and audits to ensure operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with General Superintendents and Project Managers for planning, execution, and safety to drive business success.
  • Conduct employee reviews, career development, and lead regional training efforts to drive employee growth and engagement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in computer-based equipment and programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, methods, tools, and equipment used in the construction industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of all applicable safety standards, rules, laws, and procedures.
  • General knowledge of daily processes and procedures of B&G Equipment and Supply.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with coworkers and customers.
  • Ability to record information in the proper manner in both written work orders and computer databases, maintaining a high level of organization at all times.
  • Demonstrated commitment to staying up-to-date on industry equipment changes through continued education.
  • Ability to create and foster a team environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Mostly indoors, but must have the ability to work outside in inclement weather from time to time.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • Travel is required.
